ABOUT
Traditional search engines like Elasticsearch are expensive to operate at scale because they require local SSDs and triple replication. Quickwit was built from the ground up for object storage (S3, GCS, Azure Blob), achieving sub-second search on data stored in cloud buckets with native decoupling of compute and storage, drastically reducing observability storage costs.
