Mintlify Writer solved this by automatically generating documentation from highlighted code — just select the code, and the AI writes clear, accurate JSDoc, Python docstrings, or format-appropriate documentation in seconds. While Mintlify Writer itself is deprecated (the team now focuses on the Mintlify documentation platform), it demonstrated how AI can eliminate the friction of writing and maintaining code documentation.
