fail2ban stays local and ModSecurity only sees HTTP. CrowdSec reads logs and HTTP on one machine, remediates on another, and contributes malicious IPs to a community blocklist so GPU hosts, inference APIs, and agent dashboards get banned before the same attacker reaches you.
